Aim
In line with the CiPA initiative,
in silico computational reconstruction of the human cardiac action potential
is one of the three in vitro safety pharmacology methods to be used
in order to reduce drug attrition earlier, faster and cheaper
during the process of drug candidate discovery
Safe Cardiac Action Potential Test (SCAP Test)
is a database describing
the effects of various ions, cardiac currents or drugs
on human epi-, mid and endocardial myocytes cardiac action potential
studied by in silico computational simulation using the O'Hara Rudy model
